Secure Windows-Compatible Access

These robust authentication credentials, which are based on X.509 digital certificates, are excellent for use in computer security applications. A cryptographic service provider built into Windows called the Microsoft Smart Card Base CSP enables Minidriver-compatible smart cards to support Microsoft-compatible security programmes like Windows Domain Log-On, VPN, Outlook® email signing and encryption, secure web access, and Wireless LAN authentication. Additionally, compatibility guarantees support for a range of Certificate Authorities (CA) and smart card management systems (CMS).You can manually install the Minidriver module or download it as part of a Windows update.

Depending on the size of the tags and the operating power emitted by the UHF reader, UHF technology uses the radio wave frequency spectrum to enable reading distances of several metres (equal to several dozen feet). Identiv's UHF designs take advantage of our in-depth knowledge of RFID deployments, are intended to outperform competitive products, and are frequency optimised for certain environmental restrictions. For support in a number of applications, such as near field communication (NFC) with HF interfaces, we also provide dual-frequency tags (UHF+HF).
